Nope, not the stick and ball sport that you're thinking of! This week's episode finds music that evokes America's largest enterprise. Let's remember that America is a business first, country second. Personally, I think companies arguably have more rights, or more access to gain rights, than its population counterpart. I think of government bailouts, and how they can be considered a form of mutual aid, EXCEPT that mutual aid ONLY extends to large corporations and their direct adjacents. Anything or anyone underneath and, well, "you got it buddy, you can do it all by yourself, just like we taught you!" *pats your back and kicks you off the cliff onto a floor of concrete*. I'm tired of being thrown off cliffs time and time again simply because I want access to basic human principles. Maybe you are too. I know it's possible, because I see it happen. It's simply that our tax bracket is too low for these benefits to apply to us. I think so many of us inadvertently develop a perverted psychosocial attachment to the feeling of being abandoned by your country, and so you blame your neighbor for all that's wrong. You're looking left and right, but rarely are you looking up. Look up and see the carrot and how it dangles above you!! Grab a ladder and climb up, and Uncle Sam moves just a tad bit higher. Oops! Now go blame your neighbor once again for the string that hangs so high, so high that neither you nor your neighbor could ever climb up to set it to tease in the first place. Let's be a little more logical people; it's always been a class war. There's a big party, AND YOU AIN'T IN IT! With that being said, this week's music will still be pleasurable to the ears, I promise you that. Sit back, hold space for your gripes, and enjoy the sonic ability to be present with this frustrating feeling that is GREED. See you Saturday!
